Christmas Gift Guide 2025: Selection of designs, from tiny, affordable delights to iconic pieces, all meant to satisfy the eye for years to come.

There are always some designs that live in our minds rent-free for years. Sometimes we have different reasons not to buy them, or we wait for a better moment, continuing to adore them from afar. And sometimes Christmas feels like that “right” moment to finally splurge a little on yourself. There are also things - usually smaller ones, at least in my case - that we fall in love with instantly and feel an impulse to buy. Again…especially when Christmas is just around the corner. ;)

So this list is a mix of iconic designs and recently discovered objects that I’m planning to splurge on or add to my wishlist (the one we usually share with family and friends) for this year’s Christmas.

Bamboo box/basket, 16 cm by Arket - actually available in two sizes, here is the bigger one. I plan to buy both - I love things that look relaxed, but at the same time very accurate and elegant. If it’s a storage, that looks elegant - even better :)

Pleat Karaffe by New Works - perhaps my favorite design object in my home right now… Such a simple and elegant look.. Also available here. Works a a vase too :)

As a huge fan of wooden bird figurines, I would love to have a decent collection of them. These two by Warm Nordic and Normann Copenhagen are adorable. And I believe these birds could make a nice heartwarming gift to a good friend or a family member.

Vitra Ceramic Container No.2 - well, not the design I usually choose for my space, but this shape drives me crazy… I believe this piece by Vitra is a perfect gift with a “wow“ effect for any design lover…

Vitra Akari YA2 - ok, this one is on the expensive side, but this is the iconic design by Isamu Noguchi and doesn’t need an introduction.

Glass Vase Forma, 21 cm / HK Living - is clearly my most recent crush, this butter-yellow/creamy colour make it look like a souffle cube on your (and hopefully my…) shelf.

Classic Throws by Elvang - I have three of them at home, they are super soft and warm, looking elegant and of a high quality, so I believe this kind of thing is a perfect choice for a Christmas present, that will bring warmth and joy for years to come - just pick your favorite colour!

Citrus press by Chevalier Diffusion via Arket - Stainless steel lemon squeezer. Looks so cute, yet elegant to my taste. From the French brand Chevalier Diffusion.

Opal Vase by Kristina Dam Studio - it has been on my list for a couple of years already. Love everything here - material, color, bold shape - all work together perfectly. Also available here and here in different shape/size.

Modern salt and pepper mills look like sculptures on your table - which makes them a perfect gift for a design lover. Have a look at the Twist set by Applicata. Or this gorgeous, minimalistic design - Molino by Hem.

Chessboard by Printworks via Arket - I honestly believe that not only a chess set, but also any good board game in an elegant, minimalist box, can make an amazing Christmas present for any design lover…

Or a…coffee table photoalbum, also by Printworks - yes, exactly, I still love photos printed on paper :)

And two more ideas from Printworks (I really like what this brand creates…) - a minimalist notebook and/or a set of high-quality pencils in a simple, elegant box would make a great gift for an art or design addict (like me :) ).

Fell in love with these two cuties by Arket - a tiny comb and a pocket mirror - both pieces can make a nice, heartwarming Christmas present for a friend, or your colleague, or…whoever loves sleek design and useful presents :)

As a person who has a soft spot for small storage boxes, I couldn’t help but fall in love with the Mist collection by Ferm Living. This tiny one from the same collection is also adorable. Trays from the Bon Collection are also among my favorites.

And the last, but not least…

…a good book is still considered an amazing present. For a visual person and design addict like me, it could be a coffee table book featuring interior/architecture/design-related images or a good cookbook with an elegant, minimalist cover.
